So, who is Damayanti, what are her qualifications, and why on earth would we want to read her weblog?
Now that's a very good question :-).
This is just a simple weblog for my family, friends, well wishers and anyone interested - to know how I am doing everyday, what I am doing and where I am. In a few weeks I will be returning to India for the third time this year, but this time it will be to stay.
I also feel that this is a big step, and I cannot deny that I feel a little overwhelmed at what I am doing. I am only one young girl, and I will be trying to do what many have been unable to do in the past. I am going with the faith that I will be successful because it is Srila Gurudev's desire that I do so, but I am also a fallen soul and full of so many bad qualities. At any moment I could fail, and for so many reasons!
Therefore in keeping these public notes I am also praying for the affectionate blessings of you all. If you all keep an eye on me now and again, remember me in your prayers and send me your good wishes, then I feel that I must have more of a chance of success. With the blessings of our Spiritual Master, His Divine Grace Srila Bhakti Sundar Govinda Dev-Goswami Maharaj, and the blessings of his dear servitors and disciples, I feel that anything is possible. Otherwise, how is it even possible that a wretch such as myself should have been given the opportunity that I have been given, to live the rest of my life in Sri Nabadwip Dham?
